Our annual trip to the Pantomime took place last Friday when 98 members of the Group (beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers, leaders, parents, other siblings and family members, and Fr Chris) descended on the Harlequin for this year's performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Having worked out who the celebrities were (apparently they have been in Eastenders, The Bill and Emmerdale) we took our seats, the lights dimmed and the curtains were pulled back as the fanfare of 'Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work we go' echoed around the theatre.
Once again the performance lived up to expectations and provided a fun, comical and enjoyable evening. Muggles stole the show with his jokes and antics that had everyone in fits of hysterics - even those who perhaps didn't want to be there couldn't help but let out a laugh or two!
So keep an eye out for the dates next year as we will return, once more, to the Panto.
