Scouts Cooking Compeition


Last weekend 17th Reigate entered a team of four Scouts into the District Cooking Competition

The team, Skye, Alice, James and Helena, did an excellent job of cooking Smoked Salmon Parcels (making pasta from scratch) and Ginger Trifle.  Although the pasta got a special mention by the judge, unfortunately we didn't win this year.  The overall quality of the cooking was extremely high, and the team can be proud of themselves.

Whilst the team practised, the remaining Scouts tried their skills at Backwoods cooking.  They had to prepare a fresh Sea Bass, Twists (made from flour) and Chocolate Bananas.
