Gilwell24

The following takes place between 9.00am, Saturday and 9.00am Sunday.....

Could this be the latest Kiefer Sutherland hit of the realtime, action series 24?

No it's 24 hours of continuous activities for Explorer Scouts. Held over the last weekend it saw almost 4000 Explorers from all around the country (and a Unit from Cork) descend onto Gilwell Park for activities such as quad bikes, mountain boarding, 3G swing, climbing, sub-aqua, laser clay, sorbing, kayaking, white-water rafting, fairground rides, trapeze, 4x4 driving and many more.

After some delays on the motorway due to heavy traffic and an accident, 11 Explorers and 3 leaders arrived on Friday evening and, set up camp, spent the evening exploring the site. The activities then commenced on Saturday morning, continuing throughout the day and night, finishing at 9.00am on Sunday morning. The challenge was to stay awake for the duration.
