At 10pm on Friday 25th June 2010, fourteen Scouts, five Explorers, and various Leaders set off from Leith Hill, the highest point in Surrey, to walk sixteen miles through the night back to the Church Hall. Conditions were near-perfect - a warm night with little breeze and, best of all, a full moon and clear skies. We saw the sun rise at around 4am as we walked through Brockham. All made it back to the hall at around 6.30am, and those still awake enjoyed a large cooked breakfast.
