Shelterbox London Scavenger Hunt

On Saturday 18th May, 9 Cubs, 4 Scouts, 4 Explorers, 5 Leaders (and a toddler) embarked on the London Scavenger Hunt organised by Shelterbox.

The two teams of Cubs each had to carry balloons whilst the Scout and Explorer teams had to carry a (thankfully empty) Shelterbox through the streets of London.  The objective was to plan a route to visit various places and answer the clues at the location, translate this answers into a code, and race back to the finishing line.

The Scout team (Chris, Dom, Rosie and Andrew) finished a magnificent 6th place, beating the Explorer team (Miles, Tors, Chris and Liam) who still finished a respectable 13th out of the 72 Scout & Explorer teams.

The Cubs teams consisted of Matthew, Helena, Alice, Conor and Daniel T, with the second team having Niamh, Daniel M, Peter, Shauna and Sam W. They finished 10th and 11th out of the 32 Cub teams.

Miles chose this way to celebrate his birthday! (another use for a shelter box as a makeshift cake stand)

Congratulations to everyone that took part.
